One wonderful Sunday morning my lovely wife of just over two and half years woke up feeling sick to her stomach. Frankly, it was not all that unusual, she was one to exercise like crazy and eat many meals during the day. Essentially, she was a fitness freak is what it boils down to. But the light meals and many meals meant that sometimes she felt this way.
However, while I was in denial she had this feeling that I was going to be dealing with the need for something to carry two little ones. She was right. While I said to her, no honey, you are just putting your toothbrush to far into your mouth, I of course, was kidding myself. The hunt was on for one or many double strollers for infant and toddler.

However, at my insistence we went through the whole routine. We picked up not one pregnancy test, but two. After all the first one must have been wrong! As it turns out the chemical that you use to detect the human growth hormone is extremely accurate. False negatives are much more common that false positives. You virtually never get a false positive.
So with that, we realized that we would need to do some further research. We loved our first single stroller and we took it everywhere, the beach, the caribbean, nature trails, the snow etc. We would bundle up our little one and outside we would go. We can't help it we love the outdoors.
And it didn't make any sense to think that we would be any different with two. The only real difference was, my wife was even more motivated to get fit, because she liked being that way, and with a nine month hiatus, it meant there would be a lot of pent up energy waiting to be released.
My wife is a walker, a jogger too, but an avid fast walker. So we needed something with good air filled wheels that could deal with tougher terrain. We also needed something that could easily be pitched in and out of the van, because she would often times have to drive to some of the rail trails and so on.
Also, we needed something that would be just as at home at the mall or on the sidewalk. It had to be a reasonable size to get in and out of the many stores that we would visit.
This is very good criteria by which to buy a stroller and this is exactly how I approached the problem of which stroller to select. The first step was to recognize who would primarily use the double stroller. Second step was to assess which features are critical. The third and final step was to test a few and make a decision. This is exactly how we came to our conclusion.
